Athlete | Student

My name is Christina Paleka.  I am a junior at Catholic Central High School, a small private school located in Burlington, WI.  I graduate in May of 2020 with the goal of attending a university and playing softball at the collegiate level.

I was born and raised in the state of Wisconsin residing now in Burlington with my parents and older sister, Alexa.  I was brought up in a family that taught me diligence and perseverance.  Thus, I strive to apply these core ideals to my academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Currently, I hold a cumulative GPA of 4.1622.  I push myself in academics by continuing to take multiple AP and Honors courses while simultaneously involving myself in clubs and sports at school.

Sports are the center of my life.  Ever since I was young, I have worked relentlessly in developing my skills in both volleyball and softball.  Now, I play with the intention of continuing my softball career at a Division II or Division III college.  Because of my personal experiences from sports, I know how to handle competition, collaborate with others, and recover from failure.  I intend to utilize these valuable lessons I’ve learned in my life as I traverse into adulthood.

In my free time, I like to spend time watching movies or chatting at our local coffee shop with my friends.  I also love drawing in my sketchbook and writing stories.
